| posted 04-06-05 05:32 AM EDT (US) 1 / 4 Sounds as if you have a network problem and various gamspy ports are no open or forwarded to you from the router. Possibly a firewall blocking them. Anyconnect ad authentication definition. What is your network setup like, do you have norton strangling you? |

| posted 04-09-05 11:55 PM EDT (US) 3 / 4 this is really starting to make me mad, i still can't get my thrones and partiots to update to 03.02.12.800. when i click on the button it doesnt even attempt to connect to the internet and look for an update, just none available. gamespy is the same way, click on it and the menu goes away and then the menu pops right back up. any body have any idea, we want to play on a lan at my house, and the other computer works fine, it updated and gamespy works fine, try it on mine that is on the same router and everything and nothing. the first rise of nations updates fine on my computer and gamespy will load. but nothing in thrones and patriots. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Dan. |
| posted 04-10-05 08:37 AM EDT (US) 4 / 4 As I said. You have a network problem. But as you have a computer upgraded there is an alternative. You will find a file called patch.rtp in the Rise of nations program folder. Copy this to the non-upgraded computer. Then, click the start button and select 'Run'. Type in 'cmd' and press enter. This will bring up the command prompt window. (For Win9x users, select the command prompt from the start menu, or type 'command' in the run box). Type in: Tritton headset drivers.
