Finally, A new Sleepy-Time series has been announced. Called “Sleepy-Time Sheep” (soine hitsuji). The new series is an expansion of a series created by Honeybee. Their version called “Good Night Sheep” (hitsuji de oyasumi) The series involves various voice actors counting sheep. Some even counting as high as 400. The series took off when honeybee collaborated with the makers of Hetalia and released “Good Night Hetalia Sheep” (Hetalia hitsuji de oyasumi). A second season was created and finally a spin off from Black Butterfly. (The creators of Sleepy-Time CD) Not much information about the side series has been released other than there are four planned volumes. The first has been identified as “恭臣” Like many of the other Soine boys, the kanji is made up (or a very obscure reading) I will refer to him as “Yoshitaka” which I believe the reading to be, until further notice.
Yoshitaka” will be voiced by Ryoutarou (Ryōtarō)Okiayu. Okiayu is known for playing the voice of “Treize Khushrenada” in Gundam Wing as well as “Byakuya Kuchiki” From “Bleach” and “Hideyoshi Toyotomi” from “Sengoku BASARA II” The CD is due to be released on June, 29th. There are currently no plans to make it an app.
That’s all for this edition! Don’t forget that the app is free to download with sample voices but the voice packs must be purchased in app. For those looking to purchase the CDs, they can be bought through Amazon Japan, and HMV Japan (both will ship overseas) and with that, Sweet Dreams!
